Head of Compliance

Sarah Leon oversees compliance at Evertas. A native Chicagoan, Sarah has made a thorough understanding of the law and its application to insurance for emerging industries her life's work, as demonstrated by her several years in compliance at National General Insurance. Sarah joined Evertas as part of our acquisition of Bitsure, where she was head of operations and compliance.

Sarah earned a degree in communications from Colorado State University and a Masters in Jurisprudence with an emphasis on Compliance, Business Law and Risk Management from St. Mary’s University. In the middle of all that, she also managed to be selected to compete at the Olympic level in water polo—generally recognized as the most physically taxing team sport.

Sarah is on track to complete her JD in the fall of 2024.
